Greetings in the name of our Lord!
Welcome to the website of Faith United Methodist Church! Great things are happening on the corner of West Markham and Ellis Street. If you are looking for a medium-sized church with friendly folks, you might enjoy visiting with us. We are a single level facility, parking is available near our entrances and a pew has been fluffed for you. (By the way, our pew cushions are brand new and are available for occupancy).
Our newest ministry is to provide Braille bulletins and song sheets for the visually impaired. Please call the church on Mon. or Tues. and let us know that you intend to attend on Sunday. It will help us prepare material in a timely manner.
Another special ministry includes a T-coil loop system for the hearing impaired. This has provided much pleasure to some of our members. Extras are available for guests who might need a hearing device to make the service more enjoyable. Just mention to an usher or greeter that you would like assistance.
Visit us any Sunday and enjoy our traditional service at 11:00 am Our Sunday School Classes meet at 9:45 a.m., so come early for donuts and coffee in Fellowship Hall.
Drop in any Sunday and see the wonderful things we are doing for others. Do you have the desire to help? We can certainly find a place for you to be a blessing to others. Isn't that what life is all about!
We collect items for disasters, for the hungry, and for Methodist Family Health. These are our ongoing missions. We do care and enjoy giving when ever possible.
